Why do we do Pachchakhan: To take a vow/oath of abstinence from desires such as water and/or food.

Instructions to Start

  • Fold your hands (in front of Bhagwan’s photo if possible).
  • Insure that your mouth is clean.
  • Click and listen the recording of Pachchakhan of your choice
  • Recite in your mind “Pachkhami” after “Pachkhai” is said in the audio
  • Recite in your mind “Vosarami” after “Voseree” is said at the end of the audio
  • ┬áCalculation of Prahar : Take total daytime (i.e. sunrise to sunset time), divide it by four then it will give one prahar time. i.e. if daytime is 16 hours then One Prahar = 16 hours/4 = 4 hours
