Below are all the Pachchakhan listed in English text, and we have attached his website link as well, written in Gujarati. Mr. Hitesh also has many audios for Pathshala and Nav Smaran.

Why do we do Pachchakhan: To take a vow/oath of abstinence from desires such as water and/or food.

Instructions to Start

  • Fold your hands (in front of Bhagwan’s photo if possible).
  • Insure that your mouth is clean.
  • Click and listen the recording of Pachchakhan of your choice
  • Recite in your mind “Pachkhami” after “Pachkhai” is said in the audio
  • Recite in your mind “Vosarami” after “Voseree” is said at the end of the audio
  •  Calculation of Prahar : Take total daytime (i.e. sunrise to sunset time), divide it by four then it will give one prahar time. i.e. if daytime is 16 hours then One Prahar = 16 hours/4 = 4 hours
